Editing Services: Copyediting

For editing services I provide copyediting, which corrects errors in - and improves - spelling, grammar, punctuation, sentence structure, word choice, uniformity, parallelism, and more. It will fine tune what you've written, not completely change it. My edits make it better and stay in the style of your writing. In other words, I will be enhancing your writing and fixing the typos.

This is a very detailed service and my fees are as follows:

Formatting Services: Ebook and Print Book

I format ebooks and print books according to Kindle Direct Publishing's guidelines. My formatting technique will make your book look professional and it will save you time and energy on trying to format it yourself. Plus, you will be assured that your book is formatted correctly for your readership.

There are two types of formats: ebook and print book. My fees and what's included with each are below:

Ebook formatting: Consistent chapter headings, consistent font throughout, functional (linking) table of contents page, page breaks where appropriate, title page if needed and desired: $100.
Print book formatting: Consistent chapter headings, consistent font throughout, accurate and structural table of contents page, page breaks and section breaks where appropriate, title page if needed and desired, headers and footers if desired: $150.

Cover Designing Services: Ebook and Print Book

I use Microsoft's Power Point software to design book covers and Gimp software to edit the specifications (size and pixels) of them. I use royalty-free images from Pexels.com that you can choose from to decorate your cover or you are welcome to provide your own images. I utilize font colors and styles that are complimentary and enhancing. You can view a sample of my book cover designs here.

There are two types of book covers: ebook and print book. What is included with each type of cover and the cost is provided below:

Ebook cover: One portrait page with book title, subtitle (if appropriate), author, a quote or snippet (if desired), and images: $100.
Print book cover: One landscape page that includes the front, spine, and back cover. Front: book title, subtitle (if appropriate), author, a quote or snippet (if desired), and images. Spine: book title and author. Back: book description, about the author, author picture (if desired), images: $200.
